Food assistance cuts, SNAP work requirements in Ohio budget

Bipartisan legislators in the Ohio are attempting to stem and prevent fraud from a federal food assistance program that bill sponsors say is taking millions out of hungry families’ hands. Meanwhile, food assistance programs in the state could see large cuts and changes if the Ohio House’s budget plan is maintained in the final draft.
